Nutting

This morning one lone, black squirrel is attempting to eat and store all the hickory nuts from the tree in our backyard…all by himself. He’s a hard worker and a fast eater. Seeing all the empty husks on the ground, I am taken back to when I was a child. Our family foraged hickory nuts

Haymaker
